I have never done anything like this before but it is simple to use and the runner looks great with the edging on. **Q: how thick is the finished edge? I have a door with low clearance....** A: about 5mm **Q: I’m in the UK and an nervous about purchasing incase the colour is not quite right. Can I return the item free of charge?** A: The gluing is to minimise fraying of the carpet. If the carpet is woven I don't think it would be vital but if tufted, I think it is wise to use a glue gun; an ordinary basic glue gun is sufficient but you will need quite a few glue stick. The backing strip sticks quite well as it is self adhesive.
