I use it to tie into knots all the time **Q: Will this strapping hold up if nailed or stapled through?** A: I dont belive it will last long if you do. **Q: Can this be bonded to itself with heat?** A: Haven't tried that. I would imagine if you used a plastic welder it may work. Have seen that done with similar material and a commercial welder/cutter. I use a banding clip with a crimper. They also have a clip that you can thread banding into and it pulls against itself.
