Its literally like having an external hard drive, but smaller and more portable (I guess). Read/Write speeds are wonderful so long as you use USB 3.0 ports. My only gripe is that the device does get really hot after some time. At one point, I thought that the device was going to melt or that I would burn my hand if I held it long enough. Aside from that though, the enclosure does its job and I am happy with that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good *by A***N on September 20, 2018* Worked very well out of the box. Perfect as an enclosure for the hard drive I just upgraded in my laptop. I replaced a 250g with a 500g.
