The quality of the grain is good and our 3 chickens love it, but, the bag is small and didn't even last me a week. I can purchase a huge bag of feed from a local feed store for the same amount of money and it would last ten times longer. Good feed, but not worth the price. I was excited about this feed and might buy it again as scratch, but it didn’t work for my girls as a complete feed. Their eggshells got thin and then they stopped laying altogether. I switched their food before I finished the bag and used up the rest as scratch, which they were on board with—they loved it and were very into the whole grain aspect, but it’s too expensive to buy this and have to supplement for minerals
