Great therapy tool!
The media could not be loaded. I love how thick the cards are and have lasted a long time with lots of handling! Great visual tool to help kids with expression, emotion, and verbalization.

Recognize and Connect Emotions
Good game as part of a broader conversation in early childhood about emotions and coping skills. This is one set of tools to have as a parent or teacher of young children.

The cards are sturdy and can be used in multiple ways
The cards are sturdy and large enough for someone with a mild visual impairment to see what's in each illustration. We haven't used the card game instructions yet. The pictures starts conversations about how different people feel in different situations. The illustrated pictures of a single child's entire body depicting an emotion is a great way to help people describe how emotions can be read through body language.

Every household should have a set!
I did not receive compensation or incentive for my purchase or review. I just found them while browsing for SEL tools.I cannot recommend this enough. I am so thankful that something like this exists. It has helped tremendously with my preschooler's language development. She struggled with Echolalia till age 4, and still (age 5) can't "use her own words" to relay what she's thinking sometimes. The give/take conversations have improved tremendously.Even without language issues, this set would be highly beneficial to any child in understanding emotions. Every household should own a set!She isn't far along enough for the games quite yet, but we work on 2 feelings/scenarios a week and incorporate it into play with Dolls as well so she really gets it for her age. It has also helpes with tantrums because we talk about coping skills for all the emotions. The representation of diversity is so refreshing. We have a mixed family so I cannot thank the creators enough for this.

Dated Images, But Overall Ok Product
I wish this was more of a "game" as advertised. Instead, you receive cards with either an illustration of an emotion or a social scene. The instructions are limited and this isn't really an interactive game as you would think. However, the quality of the cards are good and the images are engaging and I like that multiple races are utilized.Overall I would give this a 3.5 star rating.
