In tutta franchezza, con un costo di circa 700 euro (prezzo al momento del mio ordine) mi sarei aspettato come minimo una basetta auto-alimentata da una batteria, e invece è necessaria un alimentazione esterna, tra l'altro l'ho collegata a praticamente tutti i miei powerbank (ne possiedo 5) e tutti hanno avuto lo stesso problema: dopo circa una decina di secondi di alimentazione il powerbank smette di alimentarla (credo sia dovuto ad un consumo di corrente eccessivamente basso, che fa credere alla batteria che non ci sia nulla collegato) è quindi necessario ogni tot secondi ripremere il pulsantino del powerbank per fare ripartire la base. Per il resto la basetta fa molto bene il suo lavoro, è possibile settare la velocità di rotazione e anche il verso (orario o antiorario). Lo scanner è anch'esso alimentato tramite la porta USB C (ma in questo caso non ho avuto alcun problema), presenta dei pulsanti a sfioramento sul retro (che permetto di regolare l'esposizione e di far partire la scansione) e i vari sensori, camere e LED (per le scansioni a colori) sulla parte frontale. Il software per l'acquisizione è praticamente disponibile per tutte le piattaforme: Windows, Mac iOS, Android, ecc. e funziona decisamente bene. E' possibile connettere lo scanner sia tramite cavo, che tramite il wifi e permette di scansionare i modelli in maniera facile e veloce (su dispositivi mobili un po' meno in quanto l'elaborazione sarà nettamente più lenta). Riguardo le scansioni: necessario fare abbastanza pratica per i migliori risultati, tuttavia, già dai primi tentativi sono riuscito ad ottenere delle scansioni di qualità davvero eccellente, lo scanner è addirittura riuscito a catturare la texture degli oggetti scansionati (e si parla di modellini da pochi centimetri. Ho anche provato con un calco dentale (che mi era rimasto da un progetto passato) ed è riuscito a riprodurlo quasi alla perfezione (allego foto del calco originale e di uno stampato in 3D dopo l'acquisizione con lo scanner). Es fehlt letztlich nur noch die Software. Selbige bekommt am über den Link, der in der Bedienungsanleitung zu finden ist. Ich habe hier die Windowsversion ausprobiert. Die Installation ging sehr reibungslos. Auf der Homepage sind dann auch noch sehr viele Videos zu finden die den Scanner erklären. Die Software kann auf Deutsch eingestellt werden. Das sollte man auch machen, da hier immer wieder viele Hilfetips aufgerufen werden können. Ebenfalls kann man sich hier ein Video anschauen die den kompletten Scanvorgang erklärt. Der Aufbau geht dann sehr schnell vonstatten. Scanner auf das Stativ aufklipsen und mittels des Kabels verbinden. Dann kommt das Problem, der Drehteller. Hier hat der Hersteller leider etwas gespart. Zwar liegt hier ein USB-Kabel bei, allerdings weder Netzteil noch Powerbank. Aber das sollte wohl nicht eine große Hürde sein. Aber für den Preis hatte ich selbiges doch erwartet. Bittels der Bürste kann man sich dann schon mal einarbeiten. Hier hilft die Software dann doch ungemein. Alle Schritte werden ausführlich, in Deutch, erklärt. Ebenso die doch ungewohnten Einstellungen. Ein Musterprojekt, Büste, ist auch vorhanden. Das Scannen ist wie Bilder machen mit dem Handy. Die Software erkennt automatisch die bereits gescannten Punkte und verbindet diese, wenn das Objekt gedreht wurde, um dann ein 3D Scan zu machen. Somit ist dann der Scan um alle Achsen vollständig. Nach dem Scan geht es dann zur Weiterverarbeitung. Hier unterstützt die Software ebenfalls super. Letztlich bekommt auch ein Neuling damit einen Scan komplett hin mit Bearbeitung. 🏆Fazit: Der POP 3 Plus 3D-Scanner ist der erste 3D-Scanner mit dem ich arbeiten durfte.
