Needs a better gauge though. *by M***B on August 7, 2026* Overall I'm very happy with this air compressor. It's reasonably quiet and quick at filling my 35X12.5X17 tires. It's a must have if you off-road and need to air down your vehicle. All the parts feel like quality parts and it does feel built-to-last. My one disappointment is the pressure gauge itself. the increments on the gauge do not correspond to 1lb or 2lbs. Instead you get 3 division for the first 20 lbs - so 6.667 lbs per division. Then after that you get 5lbs per division. I'm running 35X12.5X17 tires on my Jeep JKU and I need 27lbs cold for the correct inflation for my vehicle weight. I've seen some gauges in VIAIR product photos that go up to 100lbs with more useful increments but my gauge goes up to 160lbs. So the gauge increments are too large. To compensate I tend to overinflate with this compressor - fast and easy. Then i use a more accurate separate pressure gauge to drop me back to my exact desired inflation pressure since guessing with this gauge is error-prone. I'm likely going to replace the trigger handle and/or gauge with something with better/more useful pressure increments.
