I searched High and low for a cable that would connect my Samsung J-3 star phone to my HD TV. The male USB connector wouldn't connect to my phone on many others I tried , but this cable did the job. I am a real movie buff on the weekends and I put my Amazon Prime Video to work. ### ⭐ Bad Experience *by P***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2018* So upset about this product. Used it twice and then it would not work any longer. It DOES NOT work with anything that has HDCP protection. This is not my biggest complaint as many devices do not work with HDCP. This product states in the description it won't work with HDCP protected items. My complaint is that it doesn't allow me to view anything on my TV from my phone/ipad/etc. It just stays on the main screen showing you how to use the device. It doesn't work with either Android or iOS as i've tried both to make sure it wasn't an Apple issue. Of course I can't return it as the window has closed to return. Now I am stuck with an adapter that doesn't work and out the money I paid for it. My advice is pay a little more and get an adapter made by Apple or one that is specific to Android.
