These are well made shutoff valves. They look solid and shiny. Once you have the old shutoff valves removed, putting these in is very easy. Having just a quarter turn to turn off/on makes things a lot easier when you are working under the sink. The 'knob' itself turns very easy unlike the cheap plastic ones that builders use.
