This newer one and its fellows havw a more flexible neck, rubber or something. Too flexible. The rifle even a light predator rifle causes is to tilt on the bipod. I understand the reason for it, but the older ones seem to be shorter in that rubber part and therefore less flexible and more useful. I have tried this in the prone version with a heavy long range rifle and you can forget about that as stable platform. I use a Harris for that instead. If they still make a less flexible, perhaps shorter I love it and would buy it. You will need the hardware attachment quick connect that fits on your front sling stud on most rifles. These adjust quickly, for a kneeling or sitting position. Only drawback is they are a little flimsy at the top, which may work to your advantage on a shot that you need them to give a little. The only thing is, every product description he/I saw said that the assembly instructions were included ~ they were not. You have to either call or e-mail the company to get them to send them to you.
