These LED bulbs are brighter than the originals, and so far are working fine. No problems with the slightly longer length, they fit their intended spaces fine with room to spare. As others have said, test them before you reinstall the entire socket. If they don't light, just pull the bulb out and put it in the other way. This changes the polarity. No other way to test them other than trial or error. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked with modifcations *by J***R on November 12, 2018* I bought these to replace the original license plate lights on a 2015 F150. They work, but these bulbs are taller than a standard 194 bulb and were hitting the lens before the socket was able to snap into place. You can get them to fit with a simple modification. Carefully straighten the leads out and remove the white plastic base. It's not glued on, only the bent leads hold it in place. Next, remove about 4-5mm of the flanged part of the plastic base (closest to the LEDs). I used diagonal cutters to cut around it then finished with a file to even it out. Reinsert the LEDs into the base and bend the leads back into place. You'll need to trim off the excess lead length then you're ready to go. The great thing about this 10-pack is you have a few to mess up before you get it right. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cool white light *by M***H on November 1, 2018* I used these lights in mini, and it looks cool at night. Bulbs are brighter and easy to replace.
