Roughly half of the book covers the holidays and the other half covers the life cycle events. My husband and I are interested in converting to Judaism and this book has helped to explain some of the traditions of the culture. I found the section on Names very interesting! For example: "ben" means son of and "bat" means daughter of. I never knew this I always thought in the Bible that ben was a middle name! So this may be rather silly but it really was very interesting!
