It expands to a bigger top and it’s so convenient, I love it! Shipping was so fast and assembly was easy. I recommend!!UPDATE: The table gets scratched easily so I’d be careful and make sure no oils is spilled onto the table, it’ll leave an oil stain. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Could have been nice if they made the finish half way decent. *by K***N on November 3, 2024* I felt like it was made well and heavy. It was darker than I expected from the photos. The design on top doesn’t line up which makes me kinda crazy. The top is peeling. They do not show in product photos the underneath part. Will definitely need tablecloth. I think if the ends were closed it would look better. Anyway didn’t fret too much about it.Until now. The table top is some type of laminate. I think. Do not get it wet. There was a small amt of water on table near the table crack that apparently soaked into table and the laminate is now peeling.I work too hard for my money to feel satisfied with this table. Because disassembling it would be a task I’m not up for I am stuck with table.I will be getting a glass top for the table as I don’t see it lasting very long. The table has been up all of 48 hours. I am so disappointed as I was looking forward to having a table in my kitchen for so long. So until the glass I’ll worry whenever something comes in contact with it.The nice thing is the center that holds the folded leaf. It really is not good for any other storage but there are creative folks out there.The table pulls apart easily, smoothly. And both sides move in unison.Putting it together was fairly easy. Some difficulty when trying to place a table piece over that center pedestal panels. There are grooves for the panel top and bottom to fit into.
