It works great, and I’m confident it will last a long time as it is put together well and the clip is nice and solid it doesn’t feel flimsy. I use three of them for backpacking with the kids. They work well in strapping the radio in there packs with the handheld clipped to their chest straps. They also really like them so because they look cool and are easier for them to talk and listen on. Thus they use them. They have really helped as our hiking group tends to get strung out beyond voice range. the only downside is that it is not water proof.
