For button presses, they're not bad. They emit a scene activation message that your controller can grab and automate whatever you like with. The touchpads have light and haptic feedback which can be controlled with ZWave configuration, which is good because the beep tone is obnoxious. Unfortunately, you can only toggle these. I recommend 'off' for the tone.But the big disappointment is that the swipe dimmer controls aren't scene messages, they're only valid for direct node group associations. If you don't know what that is, and aren't interested in learning a lot about ZWave, this device isn't for you. If you do know what that is, the manual says the swipe will dim lights by "a certain percentage" without explaining what that means. Perhaps it's something the target device can control but I haven't figured it out. In my case, that percentage is 50%, so I can go from off, to 50%, to 100% and that's it. Add to that how frustrating the swipe control is to register as a swipe and not a button press and I'm fairly disappointed.Overall I'll still be using it as a 2 button scene activation device with fairly good battery life. If that's all you want, it's really pretty good and very attractive. If you're hoping to use fancy swipe actions to control up to 8 behaviors, you will be disappointed as I am. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great as a touch switch *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2021* I've had my Wallmote for 3 months now. I'm using it simply as a remote on/off switch for a humidifier. So I'm not using the tap and hold or slide features, which I haven't tested and can't comment on. But as a simple tap on/off switch it works great. Was easy to set up. I've only had to charge it twice in the 3 months I've had it. I have it sitting flat on my desk. It's small enough (3" square) that it's not in the way, and large enough to easily find it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty nicely implemented touch switch *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2019* The hardware is really nice; there's nothing cheap or plasticky about this thing. It's really a pretty solid bang for your buck, and you can mount it anywhere you want.The SmartThings support for this particular switch is a bit lacking, though (which is probably more Samsung's fault than Aeotec's). You have to go through a fairly complicated installation process for third party drivers, and you only get click and long click functionality. You can't, say, use the sliding gesture to control dimming. Also, with the third party drivers, all the signals have to go out to the internet and back, so there's a noticeable lag, and I suppose it won't work at all if your internet access dies.
