Thanks** A: I'm afraid not. Only suitable for the dreaded vine weevil larvae **Q: Are vine weevils the same as garden grubs?** A: Vine weevils are beetles. Each adult can lay up to 1000 eggs in the soil around plants and the grubs that hatch out eat the roots of the plant. Never heard them referred to as ‘garden grubs’ though. **Q: Is this killer can work on apple tree?** A: This is a vine weevil nematodes treatment that you add to water and apply to soil, it kills the vine weevil larvae which I do not believe have the ability to climb trees, hope this helps. **Q: It states it keeps only two weeks in a refrigerator! Is it not in sachets to use for small areas.** A: The nematodes are in one small sealed plastic tray with a use by date marked on it. Although I have a small garden i use the whole pack in one go to ensure a good coverage.
