**Q: Can they be used on rock? Would like to make small holes in rocks (difrent kinds) to make jewelry.**
A: Yes!  Diamond coated drill bits cut through concrete, rock, ceramic, porcelain, terracotta, glass, gemstones, marble, granite, etc. You must keep the gemstone or rock lightly submerged in a pan of water with a piece of wood or rubber below for support.  Drill at an angle not at 90 degrees. Once hole has started, gradually tilt the Dremel back to 90 degrees for a straight hole. Some glass may need halfway drilling and repeat on other side to prevent cracking. No pressure, firm hold, angled start, halfway reverse on glass only.

**Q: Can these drill into glass products other than seaglass? I would assume so but wanted to check for something such as glass bottles.**
A: Jacob, I haven't tried drilling into glass with these.  They are quite tiny in their circumference and I was worried that they could do the job on glass, so I ordered Dremel compatible larger diamond bits that are designed to drill glass, tile, and stone from DiamondBurs.Net LLC and they work great on wine bottles!

A: I use them for drilling my sea glass pieces. I would think as long as you go slow you would be ok.
