The minute I turned 65 and stated on Medicare I found out that they only allow you to use 3 strips a day. There is no way I can keep it under control testing just 3 times a day. My son, also a diabetic, recommended these strips to me. I had to buy a new meter that is compatible with these strips but have found them to be very inexpensive compared to the prescription strips. They are also very accurate and now I don't have to ration my strips I get from Medicare.
