Review: Just what I needed - Pressure tank for the win. RO system wasn't handling making ice with the new fridge. Installed mini tank and couldn't be happier. More pressure at the faucet is nice also. Fit under the sink without taking up to much space and came with everything needed for a easy install.
Review: Stopped Pulsating of Fridge Water, should be included equipment vs add-on for RO system - Initially installed the Waterdrop G3P600 RO system, Put a T in the line for 25 ft of 3/8 tubing (instead of 1/4) for the fridge water / icemaker. I also replaced the fridge filter with a plug. Even with the larger tubing, it still pulsated when I used the fridge water. It was feeding the ice maker ok (20 yr old fridge). The G3P600 cycled on and off alot. I then installed this pressure tank the pulsating went away and the G3P600 system does not cycle on and off as much. I am disappointed I had to spend another $40 to get the RO system to effectively do what my traditional RO system did out of the box.... This should be included in the base RO system, instead of an add on... But does the trick. It does introduce a BUNCH more leakage points in this design, which makes me nervous.

Initially installed the Waterdrop G3P600 RO system, Put a T in the line for 25 ft of 3/8 tubing (instead of 1/4) for the fridge water / icemaker. I also replaced the fridge filter with a plug. Even with the larger tubing, it still pulsated when I used the fridge water. It was feeding the ice maker ok (20 yr old fridge). The G3P600 cycled on and off alot. I then installed this pressure tank the pulsating went away and the G3P600 system does not cycle on and off as much. I am disappointed I had to spend another $40 to get the RO system to effectively do what my traditional RO system did out of the box.... This should be included in the base RO system, instead of an add on... But does the trick. It does introduce a BUNCH more leakage points in this design, which makes me nervous.
