(I’m only 34 and very active). The machines instructions were clear and it was easy to use. I’ve used it now for a week for 15-20 mins a day and it has had a positive effect on my pain relief and mobility. My wife’s using it to tone up her core too and has also found that the machine has had a mild impact on her core strength (after one week it’s had to really tell). I’d suggest you really research how to use the plate before buying it to ensure it does what you want. Also use it without footwear as this engages you core muscles more.
