The silicone at the bottom helps the Ice Cubes slide out super easily, no cracking of the BPA-Free Plastic,etc. Make sure to wait about 30 seconds or so after removing from the freezer, to pop the top off so no chances of cracking the lid. That is a nice touch, I have never owned icecube trays with a top! Comes with 3 so each person in the house can have their own if want. You can obviously also keep the others clean and swap out after the one in freezer has been used a lot. The cubes pop out without all the twisting and fighting that alot of trays seem to need. The included lids are a nice touch too because they keep everything clean and lets the trays stack neatly in the freezer.The cubes are on the smaller side, which works good for freezing herbs, sauces, or making ice that chills drinks quickly. The trays feel functional and well designed overall. My only minor complaint is the lids can be a little difficult to get off, especially right out of the freezer.
