First off, there were many positive reviews for this tree - I'll say I can see someone being happy with this tree… but this is definitely not a good tree for the price any way you look at it. I saw nicer trees at walmart and home depot for cheaper… though whats with all these pre-lit trees? Everyone is trying to take all the fun out of decorating a tree.So, the negative reviews were right - many gaps, leaves as many needles on my carpet as a live tree, had two branches broke upon arrival, and it had this weird gluey spider web-like stuff holding some of the branches together. I actually do noir like the super full trees - I like to have space to hang the lights in the interior of the tree and even a few ornaments on the inside of the tree rather than have all lights and decorations on the very outside of the tree. But this tree is ridiculous - the gaps are huge. Thankfully we put our tree in a corner and so I could swing branched from the back up front and leave the back quarter open. I've seen several corner or half trees for sale hear for placing against a wall, thats basically what I've done. And it still looks just OK. Its also not a hinged tree - the branches bend down… but once set up, its so easy to tell its wire branches and not real. I miss my $20 walmart tree I got rid of to get a bigger tree this year. I'd definitely take this back if I got it in a store… but I have too much to do for the holidays and it would take another week to get a tree from amazon… so I'm stuck with this. I found the tree to be of very high quality. It is a bit more expensive than many trees that I considered from retailers such as Walmart or Target, but the fullness of the actual product leads me to believe that I made the right choice. The tree was super easy to put together (A stand and 3 sections) and was up in about 5 minutes (fluffing branches was necessary).
