They get the job done. ### ⭐⭐⭐ These are great for metal or plastic things to rest on but ... *by B***F on July 5, 2018* I cannot advise using these for wood of any kind other than the hardest wood species. Using these will make your project take twice as long if you are applying any kind of finish. The only way I was able to use these was to use a Dremel tool and make a smooth dome out of the sharp pointer tops. To use them in the finishing process I took sis of them that I rounded off and drilled a hole through the top down. I then inserted some screws with the screw head just barely coming out of the top. Then I used Gorilla Glue and permanently glued soft rubber tops about three times the circumference of the screw heads. Not only does this safely support the project, the rubber pads make it so the project stays in place.These are great for metal or plastic things to rest on but finished wood you will need to improvise as I did to make them work for you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like it *by J***. on November 27, 2018* I used these when I was doing some epoxy work and put 1 screw in each just to make sure they didn't move since the top needed to stay level.
