The 1 major issue I encountered was how difficult it was to slide the plastic cover through the track, beyond its first 5-7 inches. It is extremely difficult to slide the cover on, regardless of whether it's been installed. We ended up having to use strips of extremely heavy duty duct tape (cut down to the same width of the lights), which we stuck onto the covers, to help pull the covers on (the same way some people stick duct tape onto vinyl floor planks that have shifted and left a gap) except this was MUCH harder. I'm not sure if this was just an issue with the batch I received. We had some extra tracks which I was able to repurpose by using it as a backing for an where I had a gap between the metal supporting studs of a sliding pocket door and the drywall. It happened to fit perfect, and the metal trim made for excellent areas to attach self-drilling metal screws (self-tappers)!!
