Timber Tuff TMW-70 Heavy Duty Steel Log Skate Towing Attachment with Dual Chains, 1 Load Binder, and 12 Inch Pneumatic Tires for Off Road Terrain

I ordered this to move short logs around my property for woodworking and it works great. It was difficult to use at first but after adding air, things moved much easier.

We put the log dolly just to the rear of the balance point or at the far end from the pulling tractor, tie the tongue firmly to the log, then lift the front end while moving the log. Prevents "drag" damage to soil and roads.

Useful and as advertised. I moved telephone poles. The tires are air filled and they deflate easily - like any air tire - if punctured. I used fix a flat and it helped. I will be changing the tires to solid wheels for my purposes. (Texas cactus area, farm roads)

Structurally five stars. The weak spot is the wheel bearings. It lasted longer than expected per other reviews. Both wheel bearings collapsed on log 14. Used as rear tires on 12 foot fir logs with a log arch. Order extra wheels.

Works good

I ordered one of these and after some shipping delays, which is not the fault of this product and not reflected in the review it arrived. Upon opening the box all the hardware and chains to put it together were missing. Notified the seller, who told me to call them (it wasn't the seller's number, it was the manufacturers but they didn't disclose that info). The seller offered no other support.After a few days of back and forth with the manufacturer they told me I had to wait 6-8 weeks for parts. So if you want to use this right away, don't get your hopes up.Looks well built for the price, looking forward to using it... someday, probably next year at this point.Edit: 8 months, still nothing. They just don't care.Edit2: 16 months, no response. BUYER BEWARE.

I had to move 21 - 18’ fence pole logs that were 8-14” in diameter by myself. I needed to move them 100 yards over uneven forest floor w/out a tractor or ATV. Once I figured out the ideal balance point (~ 33-40%) and figured out the chain wrench (very Chinese) I was rolling right along. I’m currently designing/fabricating a front piece that will attach to my trailer dolly, so I can maneuver logs more easily. Of course Timber Tuff’s front dolly is out of stock!
