Eventually I ended up finding that certain games and emulations required at least one thumb stick as well as both sets of trigger buttons, not just a single set. Looked around for ages to find a reasonable solution until i found this. Wasn't sure if it would fit at first, but luckily it's capable of being crammed inside my Pelican IM2050 storm case along with MOST of the other components I wanted/required. The headphone/mic port on the bottom is a nice touch too, though haven't found a reasonable use-case for that feature yet.
