I use this to mount my phone on a Yamaha FZ6. This partuclar mount allows me to mount it right at the top of the column with a transverse mount. It is solid and convenient for usage while not intertering with operation or view of instruments. The spring loaded claws are very strong and I am not concerned about my phone falling out at all. It works as I intended and I would recommend it to others.
