Let's just say I've put this thing through multiple wash/dry cycles because I forget it's in my pocket that I did not think it was going to come back from. I could probably run this thing over with a car at least once and it'd come back out beat but still functional. It recharges fast enough and holds a charge for quit a while. Easy to hold the candybar shape works as a small handheld flashlight, on max brightness it's going to get toasty but only if you're holding the lenses where the diodes are.Like I said it's durable enough that it has been through several washer/dryer cycles in my pocket and survived on high heat with the only noticeable mention being that it does need to dry entirely, and recharge.
