I was relieved and upset when I figured it out because the ear covers looked and fit well; however, they didn't meet expectations. I should have listened to my wife and read the reviews beforehand. Something about their design covers the skin sensor built into the Echo Buds. Maybe they are too thick or the openings are cut incorrectly.
