There is a soft towelling material inside and my daughter said it feels like she is being hugged. I wasnt expecting much in terms of fleecing, as she has a 3 in 1 coat for colder weather and this was just for warmer days with rain - I felt inside and it feels like she will be able to stay cool on humid wet days.The coat has poppers only (something I didn't notice from the pictures) but the poppers are quite chunky and very study, so good for little hands (and impatient children who just rip them open with no concern for the cost of their coat)The hood is a good size and stayed up, ontop of my daughter's bun. The coat flares out slighly at the bottom and makes it look more 'pretty'I really like this coat. I ordered this one and the cute clouds one at the same time. The cute clouds coat is also very nice (but has smaller poppers) luckily the cute clouds coat didn't fit so there were no tears trying to decide which one to keep.I would recommend this coat- my daughter is 5 but very tall and slim, and age 7 fits perfectly. (She wears a 7-8 top and 8-9 trousers) She wants cute coats still, but for her size it is hard to find many that keep her looking her age. This is exactly what we needed. It is excellent for a plain, but not boring summer/ autumn school coat. It looks nice with a gingham summer dress and also with the normal school uniform. ### ⭐⭐ bad value for the price *by A***I on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 August 2020* I'm very dissapointed.For this price, you can buy a properly waterproof good quality jacket, rather than not breathing rubbery fabric and no zipper just buttons. How is this 100% waterproof?The design is meh in my opinion, but I was going to compromise for the quality I expected, but it's not there.Anyway, a bad value for the price and I'm returning mine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice coat *by G***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 September 2019* Lovely coat. Excellent quality. The outside feels very smooth, the lining it’s very soft and cozy and it cover the entire coat (including the sleeves) . This coat it’s only good for a light rain I would say and definitely not suitable for very cold weather.My little one was wearing this coat on a rainy day, although it kept the clothes underneath dry, the inside of the hood felt slightly damp. I don’t know if it was only cold or indeed damp. I’ll have to keep an eye on this.
