The original Halogens were rated at 240 Lumens and the light they produced from my ceiling light filled the room with bright usable light. These 4000k LED's are rated at 300 lumens and yet it feels as if the LED's are producing only half the light the halogens did. In order to bring the room to a sufficient level of brightness I had to supplement the ceiling light with two table lamps.Also the 4000k "Daylight" the LED’s are supposed to imitate has an irritating blue tinge – it does not feel like daylight — it feels like a seedy nightclub.
