I'm old school and I don't want an app for my refrigerator or lawnmower but in this instance I like having the app, the info, and being able to lock a door I forgot from across town. I've bought two so far and I'm going to get 2 more for "seldom used" doors just because it's so handy. If you already have a deadbolt spot then installation is going to be a breeze, since I was replacing a similar sized off brand it took me less than 10 mins per lock since it was just a swap.
