## Description

The Hygiena BAX System Real-Time PCR Assay forproduces clear yes-or-no results after a fast processing time in the BAX System Q7 instrument. The Screening assay detects thevirulence genes to clear negative samples fast, while the multiplex Panel 1 and Panel 2 assays detect and differentiate the top six STEC serogroups. Certified as an AOAC-RI Performance Tested MethodSM raw ground beef and raw ground beef with soy and beef trim sample types. Developed in collaboration with the USDA ARS and adopted by the USDA-FSIS for testing meat products, carcass and environmental sponges. The Hygiena BAX System is an automated detection system that uses the power of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to detect harmful bacteria and other microbes in food ingredients, finished products and environmental surfaces.
