It's not only beautifully photographed and laid out, but I am super excited to use the designs. I am a beginner in the world of embroidery, but I'm loving it so far and this book is really helpful. One star off because, as other reviewers mentioned, the "iron-on" transfers in the back are not iron-on. They're just printed on paper. I guess it's nice to have some designs printed on loose paper, but I can easily do that myself with my computer/printer. I was really hoping for iron-on as described so that I wouldn't have to use my light box or a window.
