## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do i use a wet stone to sharpen,?**
A: It only has a point. There are no edges. It's very hard steel probably wont require much sharpening but wet stone or grinding should be fine.

**Q: What time period(s) would this have been used?**
A: It’s based on a 19th Century British cavalry lance. It would have been mounted on a longer shaft (about 9’).

**Q: Is this fully assembled or must the point be mounted?  Also, is there any gapping between the mounted head and shaft as on other Cold Steel spears?**
A: It does have to be mounted yourself. I had some heavier duty screws that were the same size as what it came with and used those. I also put gorilla glue in the slotcpretty heavily and then screwed it in place. I’ve had it for a few years now and used it somewhat frequently, and it’s not even come close to loosening.

**Q: Is this made in us, japan, india, or taiwan?**
A: I have two spears, one is from india, the other had no labeling of origin.
