I have a 2008 Prius with 160k miles. The pistons tend to carbon up which causes an engine knock under load because carbon buildup increases the compression ratio. The Regain fuel additive seems to help. I recently did a top engine clean using the GM "AC Delco Top Engine Cleaner" and a modified cleaning procedure.
