The set features a few firsts for the album, including the CD-debut of a remastered version made by its original co-producer and engineer Bruce Botnick, as well as the first-ever release of the mono version on CD. Also included are alternate mixes of the album, as well as a selection of rare and unreleased singles and studio outtakes. Botnick’s stereo remaster of the original album makes its vinyl debut on the LP included with this set. It was cut from high resolution digital audio by celebrated audio engineer Bernie Grundman. The DVD that accompanies the anniversary collection includes a 24/96 stereo mix of the album version of the original album remastered by Botnick. However, the DVD and CDs were all scratched. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars The Ideal Gift To Myself (other than...) *by C***C on Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2019* I had read about this album for about 10-15 years before I had initially got the chance to listen to it when the first three albums by Love where briefly re-released roughly circa 1990. I had the 1st album on vinyl at some point in the early-eighties, and was not able to fully appreciate it at the time without having heard "Forever Changes" first.Having done that I have had a 'love romance' with this great masterwork for over twenty-years now, and 'yes' its worth a 'all the fuss.' When I saw this was going to be released, I initially thought it would be impossible to own if subsisting on a budget that consist of living from paycheck-to-paycheck. I spent a couple of years off & on hoping some Hack would make a couple of this Box-Set available via 'free' download. The later did not happen.Imagine my surprise when I found it was not only available, but at a respectable price for someone wanting to gift themselves one of their favorite and long revered audio treasures. My only disappointment with the set was that DVD did not contain the Forever Changes Concert from 1995 as I had hoped, but an HDCD Version of the very self-same album.Don't get me wrong... its not a waste far from it.My advice is that you purchase this will supplies last.DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Love will rock you like no other *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2020* I own the original LP and had it on 8 Track, which I took to Vietnam. Probably the single most thing that kept me sane and alive. Bought another version on LP 180 gram vinyl a couple of years ago and the CD back in the eighties. This completes my collection of Love. Bless Arthur Lee and Bryan McLean, both gone now but I will never forget them.
