Review: Store them indoors....haha....just like the instructions say. - If you live in a warm area, be sure to store these indoors. I have a nice waterproof box by my hot tub and tried storing these in it with some of the chemicals. It was fine over the winter, but now that it's above 85 outside, the strips are discoloring. The Alkalinity and PH are WAY off....PH reading is a much lighter orange 7.0 vs actual 7.4, and the Alkalinity reading is much darker....almost 100 points higher! I confirm strange readings with my liquid test kit, so no harm done. Just want to warn others before they start dumping in adjustments and making things worse. The color changes were gradual at first until the temps hit the 90's. The Bromine scale still works pretty well, so at least they aren't totally useless.

I have used a handful of these. While not as accurate as the liquid test kids, these are simple and close enough that it doesn’t bother me. I feel like I have about 15-30 seconds to match the colors on the test strip to the bottle. These are pretty straight forward and will buy more when this tube runs out.
