Shade Trends Cantilever Mosquito Net

Works very well although we will have to place weights on the bottom.

I purchased the mosquito netting for a purple leaf 10 ft square offset umbrella. I tried to install per instructions. The upper umbrella bar prevented me from placing the elastic that was in the top of the net at the appropriate place (see photo). A hole tore in the netting at a corner and I am unable to use it at all now. Even if it had not torn, It does not appear to accomodate a 10x10 sqare umbrella as the length of the netting was too short no matter where it was placed. It also would have required weights to keep it in place. The advertising should have had a list of compatible models (or at least incompatible models). The quality of the net itself was very good, it just isn't suitable for this style of umbrella. This was a pretty expensive failure. Now that it is torn it is unusable. Might have been better designed with clips at the elastic juncture by the umbrella pole and velcro all the way down to accomodate all styles of offset umbrellas.
