The pan is sized to use standard deep 9 in crust recipe and filling, and bakes using the same oven temps and time. Iā€™m looking forward to experimenting with banana breads, etc., with it. Coworkers were taking pictures and asking where I got it, so Amazon may be getting a bunch of orders! Best pan ever!!!! Plus you can't make a pie in it as easily as in this one, and this pan is larger. We also like the metal vs. silicon since it's more durable. Wish it came in non-stick, but... it's the only one out there. I made the crist 33% thinner than I would normally do on a cheesecake and I ended up about 1 cup extra batter that would not fit. However, it did make a nice cheesecake. I think it would be better if it were another 1/2" deep.It looks really cheap. It appears to be some kind of galvanized coating and does not appear to have been uniformly applied. I am a little concerned that it may flake off.
