Product description               Sauerkraut is a dish of central and Easter European origin, whereby finely chopped cabbage is fermented over time and usually served as a side dish accompanying meat. In this case, it's been fermented for at least four weeks. PaMa's classic sauerkraut is made using aspects from both German (adding carrots) and Eastern European (adding juniper) traditions, giving it a mild yet deep, full flavour. It's a wonderfully versatile classic sauerkraut. Our favourite way to enjoy sauerkraut is as it was intended: as a side to slow roast pork.PaMa founders Patka and Martin were inspired by raw foods during a trip to California after visiting institutions like the Gratitude Cafe in San Francisco. Shortly thereafter the idea of starting a raw food company in London was born. PaMa's focus is on organic sauerkraut, from which their Sauerkraut crackers are made. Instead of using traditional ingredients and baking their crackers, Patka and Marting dehydrate their fermented kraut with mixed in seeds and spices. The result is a cracker that is as good for you as it is healthy.
