I get about 15 or 16 feet up at most with these 4 steps. I am 6'0" and have a decent reach but you would need a couple more steps to get to 20 ft which is where i like to get up to at least. I also think these steps are closer to 3 lbs each with the straps on them. I think they do the job they are made for but you have to be careful not to hit them together or hit the buckles. They are pretty loud. There is plenty of foot room when they are on the tree, no complaints there. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Could be good for the right purpose. Bulkiness and weight didn't do it for me *by O***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2015* I purchased these instead of the LoneWolf 3-pk treesteps due to the price difference, and thinking that these were a bit more compact than they actually are. The dimensions of each one are approx. 20in x 5.5in x 8.5in. The stacking is nice, but it doesn't work for someone who is looking for something a bit less bulky. Each one weighs 3lbs, which for four steps gets pretty heavy pretty fast. I find the strap system unintuitive and at times noisy due to how close the buckle is to the metal, and the propensity of the step to "clang" quite loud with anything metal that bumps it. Might work well for someone who has different needs and use parameters, but for a mobile, self-pack archery hunter, these don't cut it. ### ⭐⭐ Buy a Lone Wolf... *by J***C on Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2017* I own a few Summit products and a few Lone Wolf products. And I can say that for hang in stands and step sections. Lone Wolf is a much better product. First off they don’t sell these steps individually, which makes it tough to hang your stand any higher than about 12ft off the ground. Unless you spend another Hundo on another four pack of steps. Then you have three extra you’ll never use. Second the way these steps sit on the tree made it tough for me to wear my lacrosse rubber boots and climb to my stand. Don’t have the same problem with Muddy, or Lone Wolf sticks. Last off, even thought these interlock for carrying they don’t mount to or connect to the stand which if you want to wear on your back you’ll need to spend even more money on backpack straps. Whereas other brand come with straps and ladder sticks connect to stands for transportation.
