### ⭐ Buyer beware

I have owned 3 of these machines. I bought the first one, the other 2 were warranted replacements. If you think the de longhi name means fine Italian craftsmanship, think again. While I was blown away by the auto-frothing, my first and each cleaning thereafter was disastrous. The machine leaked water internally all over the counter. When the machine eventually failed at much less than a year of use, I suspect it was due to degradation caused by the internal leak.My hopes that this was an anomaly and that a warranted replacement would fare better were dashed when it too leaked and then failed within the same amount of time. I also owned two of the original Dedica models and again, I purchased one and the other was a warranted replacement. That's 5 De longhi machines, all of which failed and none which lasted more than 2 years. Don't even get me started about the replacement requirements and videos necessary to make it happen. De longhi now outsources manufacture to, where else, China. As all else manufactured there and as proven by my detailed experiences, it's shiny and fancy and absent quality control. I would never waste money on the exorbitant prices they are charging for their products. Buy American or any other country of origin if you can find a manufacturer who still refuses to outsource to China.
