The first after a couple weeks. The other 2 after 6-8 months. They all operate after they were hit hard on a surface and operate for a little while. I finally took one apart and bypassed the switch. It worked but you can't turn the battery off. . The product is really as good as it looks. Easy to read, Easy to hear. Easy to set.
