Acron *by D***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 11 November 2013* This sturdy box adds a much better level of weatherproofing and security to the Acorn range on Trail cameras. Mine wouldn't fit without the removal of some of the foam padding from the box but once in it is a good fit.The adjustable mounting bracket that comes with it is barely adequate and not of sufficient quality and strength to do up tight enough to hold the heavy camera & box in any position. A stupid plastic multi position arm held by two poor quality allen screws and ball joints fixed to a mounting plate made from the thinnest piece of metal possible. No where near tough enough. It may hold a smal digital camera rigidly ( for which it was probably designed) but not the weight of the box and camera. I may source something more substancial that will fit into the fairly standard screw mount on the back and bottom of the box. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Well made box *by E***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 31 May 2014* Good, strong & secure box. Camera fits snug inside against the foam pads which prevent the camera rattling around inside the box. The design of the box is good, removeable front fascia which has a tab/slot arrangement at the top rather than using a hinge which would have been a potential weak spot. I used coach screws and large washers to fix the box to a fence post. The screws/plugs provided are a waste of time, too weedy to be of any use. The adjustable mount went straight in the metal recycling. I agree with other reviewers that this mount is nowhere near strong enough to cope with the weight of the box + a camera inside. I was not planning to use this mount anyway, but would have probably sought an alternative if I'd needed to have an adjustable mount. I am very happy with the box though. My five star rating is just for the quality of the box. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Acorn 5210 security box. Why the holes? *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 2 March 2017* Very robust metal box that will protect the Acorn 5210. The box can be secured with a small padlock. I was expecting it to protect from the weather as well. but it has a 17mm hole in the top and on both sides. Why?
