Turkey is for suckers. Not only does this turn your prime rib (or pot roast, brisket, ribs, etc.) into an absolute showstopper. This will make your slow cook beef a lotto winner. You will have your wife rubbing your feet and actually laughing at your well-earned Dad jokes. Here is what I do. Go to your local butcher and get yourself a 4lb prime rib. Set your oven to 500, and let it warm to temp. Slather your piece of prime rib with Minors Beef Base. I mean cover it like a bunch of teenagers at a Taylor Swift concert. Put onto a baking rack (with a cookie sheet encased in aluminum foil) and place in the oven. let cook for 20 minutes. Then turn the oven off. LEAVE IN THE OVEN FOR TWO HOURS- DONT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR. Don't shine a flashlight at it, don't go in for a quick Wiff, nothing. Don't even sneeze towards this Bovian slice of glory. Once the 2 hours is up remove the gloriousness from the oven and let rest for 45 minutes.
