Red Bull contains caffeine, taurine, B vitamins (B3, B5, B6, B12), sucrose, and glucose. Energy drinks have the effects that caffeine and sugar provide, . Most of the effects of energy drinks on cognitive performance, such as increased attention and reaction speed, are due to the caffeine. Red Bull can increase mental and athletic performance. It gives you that extra boost that keeps you going strong. I personally have never had a "crash" after drinking red bull.
