Purely out of interest, if they are to be used for insulation why is the colour important? **Q: Is it any good for sound proofing** A: Bought for insulation. Probably has a minor sound deadening effect but I wouldn't rely on it for sound proofing. **Q: Internally insulating a brick wall with eps can i render the eps with normal cement based mortar (or plaster) will mortar bond to eps? or pva first?** A: Don’t know, we used it between battening **Q: can they be put on a brick wall in a garage** A: I strapped the wall, fitted the polystyrene and covered it with 1/2" ply. As for delivery, not so good, picked the weekend so I could be off work. All set for Saturday delivery, nope, they decide to deliver it on the Friday when no one is in, no notification, nothing, just left there, lucky my neighbour seen it and moved it to his shed.
