The short one fits in front of sink area and the longer one in front of stove just as shown. It doesn't smell at all and seems durable for the heavy traffic a kitchen usually experiences. Light weight .

These are so nice and prevent tired, sore, achy feet. Easy to clean, just wipe them down with a wet cloth. No washing, drying, no shaking out. They look really nice and I’ve received so many compliments on them. They last forever if your puppy doesn’t chew them up, lol! Great deal, you won’t be disappointed
