It is designed to be mounted on the back of AR500 steel targets 10 inches in width or greater. While mounted, it is in an always-on state waiting for the next shot. The flexible rubber reflector is designed to withstand many impacts before needing to be replaced. Target preparation for the T1000 is quick and simple. It is also easily transferable to multiple targets using common industrial-strength Velcro tape. The T1000 has multiple operating modes to best suit your shooting situation. It is easily seen through any optic that can see the target at that shooting distance. Included is our FlexPrism with Bullet Pass Technology. The Bullet Pass Technology is made from urethane rubber that resists damage when struck by bullets. Light from red or yellow LED’s transmit through the urethane for highly visible light. ( It comes with a spare ) new ones can be purchased if I remember correctly in the 10. 00 range... I have hit mine a half a dozen times with a magnum cartridge and it works fine still. **Q: What are the packaging dimensions?** A: 3x3x8 in a shipping bag **Q: does it work underwater?** A: Mine have worked in heavy rain/downpours with no problem. We don't use them for close-up targets, however we have them attached to all of our targets from 1,392 yards out to 2,175, and they really save the day.
